Who is Dr. Joseph Cincotta? Read all about Color Wow’s VP of R&D
Dr. Cincotta holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the City University of New York, and is currently VP of Research + Development at Color Wow.
His goal in all his development work is to create products that supersede those presently available in the marketplace. In some cases, that includes creating new categories of products entirely using his research background and chemical knowledge.

Dr. Cincotta has 40 years of product development experience in the professional and retail marketplace. Over those years, he has developed over 200 formulations for brands such as John Frieda Hair Care Company and Color Wow.
Many of his personal care innovations have won countless prestigious awards from major beauty publications, including Allure, Cosmopolitan, InStyle, and more.
In addition to his product development skills, Dr. Cincotta enjoys sharing his chemical knowledge and currently holds the position of adjunct assistant professor in General Chemistry within the Connecticut State University system.
