How do I use Extra Strength Dream Coat?
1. After shampooing and conditioning, apply Extra Strength Dream Coat to damp, towel-dried hair.
(If desired, a Color Wow Cocktail leave-in treatment - thickening, hydrating or strengthening - can be used before Extra Strength Dream Coat.)
Do not apply other styling products while the hair is wet. You can apply styling products after completing the Extra Strength Dream Coat blow dry.
2. Divide hair in sections, and then spray each section thoroughly (on the surface as well as underneath) to completely saturate hair.
This is very important - we recommend completely covering your hair to get the most out of Extra Strength Dream Coat.
3. Comb through to distribute product evenly.
4. Blow dry, section by section. Use a brush to hold each section taut while directing dryer heat (set at medium to high temperature) down hair lengths until section is completely dry.
Extra Strength Dream Coat is heat-activated, which means you’ll see the best results from usage if you blow dry with tension.
Extra Strength Dream Coat lasts through 3 to 4 shampoos, so you don’t need to use it every time you wash your hair.

No.
Is Extra Strength Dream Coat vegan and cruelty-free?

How can I tell if I need Extra Strength Dream Coat or the original Dream Coat Supernatural Spray?
If you have wavy to curly hair and want to style it smooth and sleek, we recommend the original Dream Coat Supernatural Spray, and if you have coily and/or dehydrated hair and want a smooth, sleek, frizz-proof style, we’d recommend using Extra Strength Dream Coat.

Will it damage my hair if I use the wrong Dream Coat?
No.
Why can't I use Extra Strength Dream Coat after every wash?
The anti-humidity protection lasts through up to 3 shampoos so there is no need to reapply.
What do you mean when you say “moisture-repellent” and “waterproof”? Will this product stop my hair getting wet if I’m caught in the rain, for example?
Extra Strength Dream Coat has moisture-repelling properties, but your hair will still get soaked by large amounts of water when it’s raining heavily, or when you shower/shampoo.
What do you mean when you say “humidity-proof”?
Extra Strength Dream Coat protects hair that has been blown-dry into a smooth, sleek style from reverting to back to naturally curly/frizzy texture when exposed to humidity.
It ‘humidity-proofs” your style and keeps hair smooth and frizz-free for days.
What does Extra Strength Dream Coat smell like?
The product does not contain an added fragrance.
Will I still see results if I let my hair air dry then use a flat iron?
No, you can’t get the same results if you let your hair air dry. Hair needs to be blown dry straight using a dryer and a brush/tension.
Does Extra Strength Dream Coat have heat protection?
Like all Color Wow styling products, Extra Strength Dream Coat has built-in heat protection.
Is Extra Strength Dream Coat safe to use on hair that has had a keratin treatment?
